A graduate from UW La Crosse, Sarah Feaman joined the IPS team this past August as a payroll specialist. She recently sat down to answer a few questions for us in an effort to help her IPS clients get to know her better.
You’ve been with IPS for about three months now. How’s it going?
It’s really going great! These last few months have flown by. I can honestly say, I’m still learning new things every day. And as a people person, getting to know and work with so many great clients is a lot of fun. I also really love the vibe in our office – everyone comes to work in a good mood and there are always friendly smiles! I couldn’t imagine a better place to work.
What makes you a good fit for the IPS team?
I’m very detailed oriented and good with numbers. So those two characteristics should serve me, and most importantly my clients, well. I take a lot of pride in my work, so as the new kid on the block, I’m eager to prove myself every day.
When you’re not at work, what do you like to do for fun?
I love anything outdoors, really. Fly fishing, kayaking, swimming, hiking – and I can’t wait to break out the snowboard again in just a few more weeks. Wisconsin is the perfect state for taking advantage of all four seasons.
Tell us one thing about yourself that others might not know.
I love to travel. My goal is to eventually vacation in all 50 states. So far I’m at 21 and counting. And no, just driving through a state does not count!
