In November 2023, IPS welcomed Christina Van Beck to our team. Learn more about this HCM Specialist with an HR background who loves working out, hydrangeas and robots.
Christina, tell us why you were eager to join IPS?
“My colleagues are an outstanding group of payroll, tax, accounting, and implementation specialists with a lot of knowledge and skill in the field. I have a bachelor of science degree in Management (BSM) and a certificate in Human Resources Management (CHRM). My background was in human resources prior to working here, so I completely understand how my clients are feeling and the daily tasks they face. I enjoy educating them on the features of iSolved, so that they can process their payroll and complete HR functions as efficiently as possible.”
What would you describe as the perfect workday?
“My best workday is where I accomplish all of my challenging tasks with ease and have a feeling of accomplishment when I leave for the day. The last thing I do is make sure everything is complete or at least responded to within a realistic timeline.”
What do you like to do when you are not at work?
“I enjoy visiting a lake house with my husband and three children (ages, 5, 3 and 1). It’s relaxing, peaceful, refreshing, and fun in the sun! I received a Roomba last Christmas and I see why people love it so much. I wish there were other robots to clean my house.”
If you could transform your life with a superpower, what would you choose?
“Teleporting, so I don’t have to waste time commuting.”
