With nearly four decades in the payroll industry, Mary Callahan has “worn many hats” throughout her career, gaining expertise in payroll processing, tax compliance, client implementation, and operational workflows. This breadth of experience allows her to bring valuable insight and flexibility to her role as a Senior HCM & Tax Specialist.
Mary says her decision to join IPS was immediate.
“The positive vibes I felt when I walked through the door for my in-person interview drew me in,” she said. “It was night and day from where I came from, so I knew right away this is where I wanted to work.”
Since her onboarding in January, Mary’s first impressions have proven true.
“IPS is invested in its people,” Mary said. “Leadership wants employees to succeed. I feel appreciated when I come to work. If you have a question, anyone will help you. They want you to do well.”
How does Mary describe her best workday? “Having everything on my to-do list completed before the end of the day.”
Outside of work, Mary enjoys reading psychological thrillers, spending time with family and friends, and attending plays, musicals, and symphony performances. A self-proclaimed coffee lover and Packers’ fan, she also has a fun, lesser-known talent: she taught herself how to juggle.
