IPS is pleased to welcome Ariel Estrada, our newest Senior HCM Specialist, who joined the team on July 7.
With more than five years of payroll experience and a unique professional journey that began at the California Department of Motor Vehicles, Ariel brings a wealth of knowledge, patience, and people-first service to our clients.
Before entering the payroll and HCM industry, Ariel spent six years with the California DMV, including three years as a manager. That experience taught him to stay calm under pressure, solve problems, and provide exceptional customer service in even the most challenging situations. A move to San Diego unexpectedly opened the door to an entry-level HCM role, launching a career path that ultimately led him to Wisconsin.
What attracted him to IPS? The culture.
“Everyone here is so friendly and welcoming. I immediately felt like part of the family,” Ariel says. “That sense of connection was evident from day one, when team members welcomed me with lunch and conversation that felt more like catching up with old friends than meeting new coworkers.”
Outside of work, Ariel enjoys spending time with his wife (a Wisconsin native) and dogs, playing rec league softball, gaming, watching movies, and cheering on his beloved Los Angeles Dodgers (and the Brewers when they are not playing the Dodgers). A lifelong baseball fan, he still makes it to as many Dodgers games as possible when they’re at American Family Field.
Here are some fun facts about Ariel Estrada:
Favorite movie: The Departed
Favorite TV show: Game of Thrones
Favorite book: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
Favorite dessert: Raspberry cheesecake
Celebrity he’d most like to meet: Robin Williams. He seemed like such a fun and genuine guy. I don’t think I would spend one minute of the time with him not laughing.
Hidden talent: He’s a proud Harry Potter and Star Wars nerd.
Whether he’s greeting coworkers each morning, helping clients navigate payroll challenges, or debating baseball with fellow fans, Ariel is already making a positive impact on the IPS team.
Please join us in giving him a warm welcome!
